The code of conduct (for the supply of electricity to small use customers) requires us to comply with the Privacy Act. Our privacy policy, systems and procedures by which it's implemented are designed to comply generally with the requirements of the Privacy Act and particularly with the requirements of the Electricity Corporations Act 2005.

To use some of the features in this website, we need you to enter standard information about school and your school's energy account. We collect and securely store this information so we can accurately identify you in the future, and contact you when we need to.

Switch Off emails and your privacy

The Switch Off website will occasionally contact you directly by email to remind you to submit your weekly meter reading, to update you on the leader board and to announce the winner of the competition.
